Smart Compression
Smart mode tests several quality levels and keeps the smallest file that still looks the same as your original. If your image is already optimised, the original is kept, so a file never gets worse or bigger.
Make your images up to 80% smaller without visible quality loss, and convert them to JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, SVG, BMP or ICO. Free, no sign-up, no watermark.

You can also paste an image (Ctrl + V). Up to 60 images, 50 MB each.

Your compressed images appear here. They stay here even if you reload the page – saved only in your own browser.
Large images are the number one reason websites load slowly. This free image compressor shrinks JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF files, usually by 40 to 80 percent, while keeping them looking the same. It also converts between formats, so you can turn an iPhone HEIC photo into a JPG, a PNG into a WebP, or a logo into an ICO website icon.
Everything runs inside your web browser. Your photos are never uploaded to our server or anyone else's, which makes the tool fast and completely private.

WebP is the best choice for most websites: it is much smaller than JPG and PNG and keeps transparency. Use JPG for photos that must open in older software, PNG for screenshots and logos that need every pixel, and ICO for a favicon.
Yes. Add the HEIC file, choose JPG under "Convert to" and download the result. The photo is turned the right way up automatically.
